Long Exposure

Kids playing at the beach always brings a smile to my face. I love how their enthusiasm pours out over the smallest discoveries.

A long exposure taken with the A7R during late afternoon. I used 2 ND filters (10 stops each) and 302 second shutter. I walked into the scene for part of the exposure so this is a half-selfie.

I took this at 7pm with darkness closing in. Someone

Love the half-selfie of course, and yes, the excitement over the smallest of discoveries. Your post brought to mind many memories of our family vacations on the Gulf over the years as “the kids” were growing up: the excitement over discovering baby crabs, flashlights and turtles, the joys of shelling, the post-supper beach walks when the wind changed and the day’s air began to turn into evening expansion. Btw, Thought of y’all as I watched the news of Arthur last week!ReplyCancel
