Newborn at Birth

I just have to introduce you to the most beautiful little baby to come into the world. Her name is Riley. Of course she arrived crying then shortly after everyone in the room was crying. It’s the first time I held a camera and shot with tears in my eyes. Wow what an event. If you’re pregnant I’d be glad to shoot your delivery and I’ll even cut the umbilical cord after the daddy faints.

This comment is not about photography although thats how I got here as I do admire Ferrell’s work. I am a grandad of a 12 month little princess named Jasmine and when I saw this post it reminded me how fast they will grow. These gifts of life are so precious that there is always tears of joy when we are with them.

These photographs are full of strength, joy….
It seems there are 2 main things in photography : technique (I include artistic intuition and skill in the word) and opportunity.

You had (have) both of it.

It would be so ‘interesting’ to have images of elderly persons in a hospital… I have one by my house but I never dared…

    sincerely yoursReplyCancel
