Surfers Paradise, Australia

In a word, awesome. It’s a beautiful, modern, high-end town that’s very clean and I’d love to visit again. I checked in with a real estate dude and the Saudis are buying up the top floors of the most expensive condos. I guess with the recent rise in gas prices they have a few billion laying around. Prices are from 300K to 3mill for a unit.

The first shot is the tall Q1 building in the morning. The other shots are shots taken from the Q1 that night.

All three are fantastic (I’m running out of adjectives here), but bottom two are two of the prettiest city photographs I’ve ever seen.ReplyCancel

Hi Ferrell, I was right alongside you taking the same pic that night at Q1 tower, I talked to you in the elavator about HDR, my shot is pretty similar, but I have not got rid of the window reflections as yet! Nice to meet you and e njoy the rest of your trip in Australia,

David – So glad to hear from you. I hope all is well and keep clicking. To prevent window reflections you have to pick your spot carefully. Lights in the room behind you always make it difficult. ReplyCancel
