American Airlines – the operative word being American, has an inflight magazine that’s in Espanol. No problem, just ask the stewardess for the English version. It doesn’t exist they say, oh well, how about French, no, Italian, not that either, well is there someone that can translate the Espanol to English so I can learn about the cusine in Key West, “Florida,” nope. Maybe there’s hope, the emergency exit door has instructions that are still in English, but then again it’s probably an old plane.
Impressive shot, and when we read the happening, it’s more impressive, and you were lucky to have not more damages.
Glad you’re okay! Sorry for the deer. I know about driving into the sunsets, and have seen many hooves and hoof prints, backsides, and eyes, and…. The shot reminds me of another shot of yours, crackling surfaces.
They can do alot of damage. They’ve hit several of my cars over the years too.
Oh my god! What a close call. Glad you survived it. Sorry to hear the deer didn’t.
There is a place near my house (just outside the Philly border) where I have had two near-misses with a deer. Always one deer, always jumping right over a picket fence at just the moment that my car is approaching. I have come to expect that deer to be there whenever I drive by, so I always take it V-E-R-Y slowly.
