If an idea for a pic stays on my mind for more than a week I usually make it happen. This image is created from 2 main images then 2 distant balloons added. My first task was to get Kara (daughter) to agree to the shoot so I went with the sure thing, money. On a great sky day I drove around chasing clouds while searching for a white fence and a clean background. I ended up in a town called Mt. Airy and I was thrilled when the breeze brought the perfect puffy clouds into the scene. I shot the scene and created an HDR image in Photomatix. I hurried to the party store and ordered balloons for a 3pm pick up and got Kara all ready for the shoot. I flipped our picnic table on edge and I had Kara do a balancing act across while holding the balloons. It was easy to add Kara to the scene, after all she was walking on a 2″ wide beam. Just curious… why did you need to do and HDR on this scene?
Now with regard to the image…. UMMM… KILLER!! Love, love, love it!

My kids got tired real fast of having a camera pointed at them. They would see me coming and say “I don’t want my picture taken.” Offer a little cash and you wouldn’t believe how fast they pop out of that couch. Ferrell

Why HDR? Because you can, saw this pic and it immediately caught my eye. hopefully some company will buy the rights to it and add it to an ad campaign!
